Topic: Peter Gabriel Was Mad at My Friend Posted: March 26 2006 at 10:09 |
It could have been on a cruise ship or a seaside resort. After all, we all know that Bono can walk on water....

Why wouldn't this story be true? Really weird things do happen, a lot weirder
than that. These old dudes aren't gods, after all. They can be seen and
touched.

Yeah I like how he conveniently didn't bring a camera to a U2 show. Also if I saw Gilmour sitting right behind me you better be sure that I would get his autograph. Did he, or was there conveniently not any paper and pen in sight?

When I go to a concert I have yet to bring pen or paper, nor would I bring a camera, so there.

Right on! I like Gabriel and U2.
So there -- sue me.
(BTW, I would certainly move for Gabriel, especially if I was in the wrong. It would also be a good chance to meet him. There's no excuse for selfishness like that.)

Actually, he snuck in a video camera and taped the show!
And being from the United States (and the west coast at that), it seems an unlikely occurrance to me too. But this is London, and this show was some sort of special gig. Does anyone from England remember a recent tour where U2 played a series of outdoor shows in London, but one indoor gig?

Sarcasm! Funny!
But seriously, from what I understand, this indoor show was attended by many british rock glitterati. My friend is many things, but he is not a liar...

*shrug* It sounds very hard to believe.

Suit yourself... | It is a bit hard to believe...but if you say your friend is many thing, but not a liar...well, I guess I can believe that story...I guess... But what surprises me is that the usher didn´t gave Gabriel his seat and thruew your friend...

Actually it was Jon Anderson in front of him so he had an unobstructed view of the stage! And Gilmour was there because of a bet. He lost.
