I listen to quiet a few different genres.

Post Rock/Indie - Tortoise, Godspeed, Mogwai

Metal - Pantera, Slayer

Jazz - Miles Davis, Weather Report

Other - Beck, Radiohead, The Doors, Nine Inch Nails

I'm planning on exploring more genres too. I listen to so much progressive rock though.

Good music in the Underground?

Too Funny

Do you mean buskers or street entertainers?LOL

Nah, man - it's like, all around you - the babbling of the crowds, the clickedy-clack of the escalators, the whooshing of the trains - it's like a cosmic underground symphony, man, like, ya diggit?

I'm not into that Bee-Gees or Village People fluff. I am talking about the good stuff that never made it to the radio. Even the Clash made Disco. If you heard it and didn't know what it was classified as Disco,I bet I could turn you on to it.

There's good music in any genre - trouble is, if you listen to the radio, you only get to hear the bad bits.

No gay is an American term for bent!LOL

Never understood what they had to be "gay" about!

Greg, do you not remember my reference to Jeremy Bender?Evil Smile

Yeah Jeremy Bender rings a bell but I never got it....I can be a bit thick headed at times(your words)

To be honest "bent" isnt a particularly friendly euphemism for homosexual, as no doubt someone will inform you. However I use it good naturedly and dont intend any REAL offence. Now if I'd said "donut-puncher or "rump ranger" that would be a different matter!Wink

SOLID!! gdub411

I enjoy a good banter! Glad to hear it!

Hope to hear from the forum again.................been awhile. When forums and chat was new it was fun, but "people are strange" so I gave it up. This is my first foray into a new forum in about 3 or 4 years, and I'd much rather just talk about music.

Later on!

S
