I play bass in 2 bands - and sing in 1 of them. Only do 1 "prog" cover - Another Brick In The Wall (if that can be classed as prog (?)) |
|
So here I am once more

Vocalist. I was in this band for awhile that started out covering Rush and Zeppelin. I guess you could say I sound kinda like a mix between Geddy Lee and Jon Anderson (But I guess since I'm a girl, that's not too impressive). |

We want to play together soon, but our guitarist and boss is quite very busy at the moment. He studies and is jobbing. The band still has contact. We sometimes meet for a couple of drinks. |

I was recently the vocalist of the ambient-goth-death metal band Aetas Obscura, which is now on hold. We also brought a demo out, which was reviewed on www.powermetal.de and in the German Legacy mag.

Hi all.
Love this website! This is my first post here. I've been lurking for weeks, and finally decided you're worthy of having me join you... I've played keyboards, guitar and vocals in the past, but my main instrument nowadays is the computer! I compose large scale works using a few keyboards and a lot of modern software (it's amazing what you can do nowadays isn't it?) You can listen to my compositions at www.herring.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk - not just samples, but complete works, including Midi and mp3 files. I've been into Prog since the mid-70's but I'm also influenced quite heavily by classical and electronic music. See what you think! |

I used to be a fair bassist. Surgery a few years ago left my left hand partially numb and frustratingly slow.

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Sounds like you need some Opeth-style death metal vocal lessons! |

I'm actually a vocalist, me and my mate have a metal band. I do the growls / shrieks, and the other guy plays all instruments. So far we only have two songs , and I'm just wondering why we haven't got a deal with a major record company yet |

Violin is too difficult I played concertina for the past three years, but have unfortunately neglected it a bit lately. I noodle around with bass and keyboards but haven't really learned anything too structural with them. I do sing just about every day, so I guess by technicality that's my choice. If it wasn't so difficult to take the boredom out of words I'd probably lyricize a bit more too If I could afford a stick I'd probably try that out. Tony Levin makes it sound so fun and easy Edited by Saviorts |

Acoustic guitar: I've learned a little bit from several styles like flamenco (I'm waiting on a call from Paco De Lucia to play a duet..), blues, R&R, classical and I know a few chords to play keyboards, my ultimate dream is to buy a Mellotron M400 in order to wait or the love is mutual ... ..?!
