I was just pondering this myself! 

My one suggested fav is "Starless and Bible Black" by King Crimson.  Folks on PA seem enraptured with "Red," but I think SBB is superior.

Yes, it's difficult with Threshold, because their discography is so very even in quality, isn't it? I know Hypothetical always got a lot of love back in the day, when I always slightly preferred Clone..

I agree, and DoD and AMoLaD both certainly fit into that category for me; there's only so many listens you can give them before you get jaded. BNW was certainly a bit fresher when it came out, but I don't listen to any of them any more...
