This lack of decorum is worse than watching Trump in a debate.
I guess my post on the rules was missed: see Site Rules and Guidelines
This is a formal warning. No more insulting language period. Feel free to argue, but do it politely. This goes for anyone posting in this thread and out of it. I'm almost at the point of closing this thread too. It got unpleasant quite a while ago, and this doesn't feel like dialectic or debate that will lead to any shifting of perspectives. In fact, I think it has run its course. |

Here is the allmusic page for Dream Theater. Look at the secton for influences(influenced by). Game over. Boom.
If that's not enough you can go to the Rush page on there and look under followed by. There's a few other prog metal bands on there besides Dream Theater also.

Keep typing, Steve-O! I just got two fresh packages of CDs in the mail and I'm opening them.

I doubt you know what a "real prog-metal band" is.

No more chances to play your sympathy card, Steve. You used 'em all up.
Many of us have chimed in. You choose to ignore and disregard. I don't see that changing.

What the hell, I'll state it again anyway. Rush only had influence on your clone bands and not real prog metal bands. Nice.

Michael Beck: "The Warriors opened a lot of doors in film for me, which Xanadu then closed. Then again, any movie that spawns a hit stage musical can't be all bad!"
