I just decided to listen to the US Prog band Gypsy's 1970-debut for the first time in ages. Such a beautiful album, with excellent vocal harmonies and great grooves.

Framus 5 – Město Er, from "Město Er"
An utterly magnificent
19-minute epic track from 1971, originating from the Czech Republic, is
a truly worthy listen. Město Er by Framus 5, which translates to "City
Er" in English, narrates a tale of a loneliness within a vast city in a
utopian yet failed society; it is essentially an interpretation of poems
by the esteemed Czech poet Josef Kainar. Although still
obscure for prog audiences outside the Czech Republic, "Město Er" stands
as one of the finest side-long progressive rock songs from the early
seventies, replete with great singing in their native language, eerie
keyboards, splendid guitar solos, a convincing rhythm section, and
elegant "big band"-like wind instruments, all enveloped in a peculiar,
wistful ambience. |

^Dig it! Kind of DT lite and the singer has a definite LaBrie tone to my ears.

Not necessarily obscure...
but this Journey album is underrated and overshadowed by their later AOR stuff.
