There are very interesting bands here, and I love some of them. But, on this poll, I definitely choose Camel. It's a classic prog band and I'm a classic prog fan either.

Impulse wanted me to go with BBT because of their strong output these last few years.

After consideration, I couldn't ignore IQ's (almost)consistent run of essential albums since they began.

I have to agree with you I've listened and listened to Camel and though their music is well played I don't think they are a top prog band. What really brings them down is very butt average vocals !  Tongue   throw rocks at me I don't care somebody has to speak the truth and say it. I actually have very few albums from this list of artists. But my favourite album from this list is from Riverside.

Vote for Camel who lead this by some distance for me, though I like some IQ and Strawbs. Logan's poll is closer to my tastes, not surprisingly.
