I think I know the clip that put you in mind of GG. It's one of the seakier additions 'cause it's a well-known band but from one of their more atypical albums. Anyway: ********HE* We're making progress, people!

I listened to it a while ago, so not only is my recently (and unfortunately) neglected progressive-dog against me, but also my whimsically forgetful mind-cat.
I definitely heard some Hoyry-Kone (maybe it was Alamaailman Vasarat, but I didn't think so), Egg (as mentioned), Metamorfosi (or Banco, perhaps), and I think something that reminded me of Gentle Giant, but I couldn't pinpoint the song.

 I'll help things along by pointing out that that was the penultimate clip, so so far our anagram looks like this: *********E* HTH! (I should also point out that HTH isn't part of the anagram).
