1) isn't listed on PA,
2) has some singing,
3) is not in English, and
4) is not in your native language.

So how come my choice of song by Demis Roussos is unacceptable to you when Lorenzo (James Baldwin)  said yesterday in a private message to me that it was a "wonderful" choice? Smile

Neither Lewian, nor I understood if you nominate that song in the poll. You seemed to ignore Lewian's question to you above, so you created some confusion...
You can either go with my original choice of Demis Roussos song sung in Greek, or "Forever and Ever" sung in Spanish. I don't mind which.  I'm beginning to wish I never took part in this poll now though with the Land of Confusion I'm currently in. You may not like the Demis Roussos song I've chosen, but that happens to be my choice, so take it or leave it. I don't understand why the song is unacceptable for this poll though, when it conforms with Lewian's four points listed above? Confused

If I was to choose a favourite Demis Roussos song overall, that would be "Forever and Ever" sung in English, although that wouldn't be eligible for this thread. I guess I could choose the Spanish version of "Forever and Ever" instead though. Then again, I could choose a song by Aphrodite's Child to keep it proggy. Smile

let me repeat myself, I guess you did not understand, or maybe you ignore me, I don't know...
Read Lewian's original post.
If you want to participate in the poll, go ahead.
If you don't, then don't... Confused

Is this meant as an entry or not? For the moment I'm assuming it's not because surely you don't "have to" do anything.

I'm not sure he understood what the thread is about.
I thought we were meant to choose a song that sounds Greek, just like it says in the thread title. Would you prefer me to choose a Nana Mouskouri song instead, or maybe something by Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou, otherwise known as Vangelis. It's all Greek to me. Smile

please read the original post, not just the thread title.
then participate, or not...

Pino Daniele sounds like greek, or arabic, for a man who lives in Milano like me.

Anyway, CHE TE NE FOTTE? It's something between

f**k's it got to do with you?

and

What do you care?

Actually, I looked up the meaning to the title a few years back, because I kind of suspected that, but the rest of it is still a mystery to me for the most part.  Unfortunately, he passed away in 2015 from a heart attack, but he put out quite a large discography in his time.

A nice change of pace. Musically for the most parts.. not the most inspiring.. my own choice included but wasn't that the point of the theme. It is the singing.. the voice..  even the musicality of the languages and that is how will approach my votes

suspect I am going to need multiple listens to find votes 2 and 3 LOL Much as last poll.. the winner had already been found and like last time knew it before I heard all of them.

Don't hurry! There's still a day of potential additions!
