Quick question: How many eggs can you fit in your mouth? Is it more than you can fit in your anus?

Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Last year when I discovered Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, I did not listen to anyone else for about 2 weeks. That was very unusual for me though. I thought I was going crazy. His music's pretty hallucinatory anyway.

I usually can't either -- I like to bounce around a lot. But lately I've been trying it out and it's an interesting way to listen to stuff.

Listening to A Passion Play now, IA's best vocal performance, IMO. Makes me sad to think about how his voice have detroriated over the years

I like doing that too, although I don't have many full discographies. It's a great way to listen to music, IMO, listening to an artist's albums one after the other.

I love that scene in The Song Remains the Same during Moby Dick where Bonham's son is playing those little drums and John joins in, and his son does that little drum stick twirl. So adorable!

I just think the musical unity of Quadrophenia puts it over the top. Basically, "Quadrophenia" as a word refers to a personality split four ways. Townshend renders this with four strong recurring musical themes correlating to these four sides of the protagonist's personality, and also conveniently correlating to the four members of The Who. The four themes work well both alone and together (in fact this latter point is proven by the penultimate track which plays all four themes at once).

The Who are another band that I have always been more hits-oriented towards. I have most, if not all, of their albums, but I enjoy their "Who's Better Who's Best" compilation album the best of anything. I find many of their non-hits to be average.

I bought Quadrophenia off my friend a while back and listened to it for the first time yesterday. It was extremely promising.

So how about the Who? I've been getting more into them lately, enjoying Live at Leeds and Who's Next especially.

I've probably played Steve Miller's greatest hits album a couple of hundred times but I have never really delved any further with him. I do have one of his more recent releases. Something "River".
