Birth Control had some awful covers, but the winner comes from the deep vaults of early 70's hard rock/"heavy prog", a band called Buffalo....if you'd like to see an absolutely tasteless album cover, track down their second album, "Volcanic Rock"

dredg seems to be lacking in the way of exciting covers on all their albums.

Two awesome albums with really dull covers:

dredg - Leitmotif (I think this has an alternate cover, but this is what I have.)

Oceansize - Frames

Brown Album By Primus.  It's just really boring... not a good representation of the music contained within

I know.... it's a great cover...  ELP haters just can't stop with music.. or the personalities... but they even have to stoop to the level of f**king with the Armadillo "Tarkus'...  some people are never satisfied and have to go after our sacred cows of prog.

VDGG - The Least We Can Do is Wave To Each Other, looks like it was made with map pencils or something.

Well.. I guess it matches VDGG's sound at that point: grainy, raw.
