KRDL, Kurdle 109. We spoil music for everyone The less I hear radio (or watch TV) the more sane I am, although sometimes, even without that, it's impossible not to get sick of whatever Pop hit is currently trendy It's more positive to make lists of music I love, so I won't even start this one. I can't believe Tom forgot Kings of Leon though

There are many, many songs I dislike but my husband and I once spent a long car journey whittling the "worst songs in the universe" list down to the Eagle's Life in the Fast Lane and Steve Miller's The Joker. Both of which made us want to rip our ears off rather than ever hear them again.
I could also make a good argument for When I'm 64. What a waste of time and talent.
I forgot Nickelback. What a waste of space. Just a pack of oxygen thieves.......
I used to date this girl who was absolutely smitten by them. She loved all and everything from the band, and I of course had no other choice than to bear with her, admittedly, psychopathic ways. I really tried liking them - most of all because it would improve the time I spent with her tenfolds, yet no dice. The more I listened the more apparent it became that Nickelback were making the same song over and over again. I have yet to hear a song from them that sounds different from ANY of their other tunes. Maybe it's the singers voice that does it? Every time I hear it my brain instantly tries fleeing out of my ear.

“The Guide says there is an art to flying or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”
This thread could run and run. Is the idea to keep it to prog and prog tinged music?
if not I'll nominate just about everything to do with Garage or Hip Hop or Rap or whatever that childish non music is called
Oh and anything by Oasis and Coldplay
Well the op was posted in general music discussions, so feel free to bring the vile - prog or not Btw agree on Oasis and Coldplay, but there is a lot of interesting hip hop out there for my tastes (not the kind you'll hear on the radio though).

This topic is a little provocative...
There are songs you don't like but that you can bear hearing.
But which are the songs you cannot stand listening to? These songs that were broadcasted too many times or immediately gives you the urge to push the "next" button / change the radio station?
Please cite precise songs names and not just a band or a genre.
The idea of this thread is songs that you can't stand, not the "I don't like disco or hip-hop" or "I don't like David Guetta" sort of things.
For me:
The Fugees (or whoever sings this... thing ) - Killing Me Softly with His Song
