Live from the Central TV Studios in my home city of Nottingham, England. This is just one of a whole series of Access All Areas concerts filmed in Nottingham between 1989 and 1991 (and now available on YouTube), featuring some of the biggest names in the world of Progressive Rock!

Rick Wakeman and the English Rock Ensemble - Live at The Maltings in Farnham (1976) - home of the Rock Choir, who are in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the largest musical act ever to release an album (currently with 25,000+ members) which is double the number of players (and audience!) at Rick's extravagant King Arthur on Ice production.

Here it is! Arguably, one of the most lavish, excessive and expensive concert performances ever staged in the history of Progressive Rock: KING ARTHUR ON ICE - Live at the Empire Pool, Wembley in 1975, featuring an impressive all-star cast of 130 players, including The English Rock Ensemble, The New World Symphony Orchestra, The English Chamber Choir and The Nottingham Festival Singers. That's quite a line-up! This is the famous (or notorious) concert that takes Progressive Rock to new levels of pomposity, grandiosity and magnificent excess which almost ruined Rick Wakeman's health and career, not to mention his bank balance.
