He pitched to good contact yesterday for 3 innings.  And Scott Baker is pitching to good contact so far today.  Tigers now lead 5 to 2.

He's was one of the best pitchers in the league when he was striking out batters last year. He's an atrocious pitcher this season.

Sizemore returned healthy and some other talent that they have is actually living up to it. They're actually not a bad team when you get over how bad they have been in recent yeras.

They started removing the female owner's clothing early this year.

Back to .500 for the Buccos. Their pitching stunk it up last night.

Which pitcher is that?

The Tigers had a nice 10 to 2 win over the Twinkies yesterday.  They are tied 1 - 1 in the bottom of the 3rd so far today.

The Twins management have decided to ruin an elite pitcher so I sure hope that you don't give them a chance to win that division.

The Tigers went from losing 7 in a row, to winning 6 out of 7 from the Yankees and Blue Jays and are now at .500 with a 2-game series against the Twinkies.  Hopefully, the Tigers aren't the cure that the Twins have been looking for.  They always seem to get well when they play the Tigers.

One game over .500. I'm enjoying this right now.

Every game in the American league yesterday included a team that finished with 5 runs.  http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_league_stew/post/Gimme-Five-American-League-scoreboard-features-?urn=mlb-wp5759

The Buccos are at .500. Too bad we got to start playing some good teams soon.

Tigers won 5 to 2.  The Jays did get a hit in the first inning, so they got that monkey off of their backs early.  The Jays only offense came on a 2-run homer from Bautista.  The Tigers score 2 in the 7th on an Austin Jackson 2-run homer to take a 4-2 lead, and then scored once more in the 8th on a double from Magglio Ordonez followed by a single by Cabrera.  I'm not sure why the Jays didn't walk Cabrera with first base open, but they paid the price that other teams have paid for not walking him.

I didn't catch today's game, but I now know that JoJo Reyes is now winless in his last 25 starts.  Not good.

I heard the ball 4 call was very questionable.

I'd say it was a fair call.  It was hittable, but just away from the far edge of the plate if I remember correctly.  Arencibia earned that walk.  That was Toronto's highlight of the game. Don't take it away from them. LOL
