Very sorry for your loss.  That's some title for a tribute.  Confused  In any event, it's my favorite thing I've ever heard from you, that acoustic piece.  Very cool.

A very pretty guitar.

"Sorry about the Drums" had some very good ideas.

"4-15-13 Jam Excerpt, Part One" did too.

I start playing the guitar at 5, and I write songs since 8 years old. Some of my favorite songs I wrote really young.

Well, I can see some flaws in your works, but I like it. You are the kind of musician that I really appreciate, you don't care about sht and play your own songs, your own kind of stuff. It would be weird for the population at most, but that's your job, this is avantmusic. I would rate your works between 3 and 4 stars. And I wil tell you the point that I don't like in your works: the acoustic songs. Isn't baaad, but it just don't held my interest.

"Gay Witches for Abortion" is one of the greatest band names ever LOL

Anyway, listened to most of your new album and it's very good; some very interesting instrumental compositions, at once catchy and complex.  I missed the last few tracks because I had to go to band practice but will finish listening soon.

If I could give you one piece of advice, it's that you could use some work on your rhythms, sometimes you sound a bit off of the beat.  If you make your rhythms more precise, your compositions will sound tighter and strike the audience in a more visceral way.

Two new GWfA releases, the single, "(diet) Pepsi Cola" and the first full length, "funyuns (and other edible, psychedelic and satanic offerings)".  Check em out, they're actually not that bad

Listen to his work at first. He is a good songwriter. He knows what he is doing. He is my friend. And if you want to make music as your living, you have to do music for other people and you have to do music that you don't like sometimes if you want to make money. That's the whole point of it. This music will never sell. It is too amateurish and too avant-garde.

I'm sorry but this is not only bringing up an argument from last year, but is awful advice.

No kiddingLOL

... but yeah like Austin said you're definitely improving Andrew, keep at itThumbs Up

Keep it going Andrew, do what you enjoy and continue to grow. You're improving and it's showing.

Mark your calendars, cause the next Ozark Soundscape album is coming out this Thursday, June 20, 2013! It's called "Going to the Pet Store and Other Mundane Activities".
It's the most straight forward album I've done, I think, but it's still got that Ozark Soundscape fun and experimental edge to it. It's also probably the most solid release I've done. Aside from me messing up on a bar or two, I don't think there's a stinker in the lot (of course, my opinion always changes over time).
