By the way, an Octavarium match will operate in a bracket style tournament (the only way I can reasonably manage it), but no rejuvenation will occur between rounds- it is a constant battle.
If you have a cache of weapons and armor, it may be worth your while to pledge your name to the Octavarium list, and buy a few extra warriors. If you lose, your selected warrior may yet live and you get a training point. If you lose and the warrior dies, then you are out some gold- that is all. And you can always place warriors up for sale.

There is no "hand" restriction to ranged weapons. You throw one before you draw your main weapon(s). It's similar to the Roman tactic of tossing pila before melee engagement (and they had shields and swords). |
