How about the administrators and moderators begin to enforce rules against making these threads for a certain amount of time and see how much original content begins to spawn?
EDIT: No more threads about Genesis either. They're terrible. |
Unfortunately, I don't have the authority to delete threads or lock them, but you may notice that many times the second post is a post from me that says "This has been done before, please check out these threads xxxxxxx and xxxxxx." And yet, after I post that, the new thread still goes on for 3, 4 or 20 pages.

Many of the threads on the subject matter of differences in musical quality, innovators, all the ramifications of the prog music world business and fan based beliefs on their heroes. When a younger progger posts a thread like this, it is the only time I can truly enjoy myself and it's quite entertaining and amusing as well. It can be quite educational to hear all these ancient proggers and younger proggers rise together with various opinions and analogies. I am very much a mixed bag regarding music as a whole so for me it's quite like enlightment for me. Some people on P.A. feel tired and bored with threads such as this. If there is any of what we call today trolling in these types of threads it brings excitement and interest to the viewer and people here seem to have an understanding of communication and that makes it worthwhile.

I am pretty new here, but 90% of whatīs been mentioned in this thread Iīve seen countless of times... Maybe the peeps who have been here since Napoleon bought his first x-box are running out of ideas, or maybe we are all the same listeners with tiny minuscule differences - all of us rehashing the same questions involving our beloved music? Naaaa - maybe itīs just time to incorporate other stuff like: Which kind of fruit do you enjoy whilst listening to Aranis? (Well, thatīs a no-brainer of course. Pineapple) Whatever to put on to an outdoors gig in February played in northern Russia featuring the newly formed Beach Boys Fantomas band?

It WAS a good one on occasion, but didn't we cover pretty much everything already? I remember one time there were 2-3 variations of this, running AT THE SAME TIME!

What is the most technically complex prog band? Is prog more complex than classical or jazz?
