^ Thought someone would respond like that .....
...... well, an LP is aesthetically more appealing in this neck of the woods than a CD. 1700+ LP's verses 100+ CD's = favour of the 12" x 12" format.......

Fine words there, Jose - I agree totally. Hopefully InsideOut get their collective heads on and start cranking out more Spock's vinyl.

Start with the latest, and work backwards.

I likede it pretty much  straight away. Great album.

It's more pop-prog a la Styx rather than epic oriented symphonic prog.  This may be why it's not rated as high as others.  Still great.  I love the cover.  That was when the computer generated pics started looking really good.

Crack the Big Sky Approve And a bunch of other good songs. Yeah, I must admit it's one of my least favourites from theirs, probably due to that lack of epicness, but still a good album.

You love the music, the music loves you!

yeah, those Morse SB albums have lots of potential for burnout.  so many hooks and licks.  the Nick and new era SB albums are more slow burners for me.

Funny, I didn't instantly appreciate Day for Night until I needed space to fill the end of CD2 (of the new album) I burned for a 1200 mile road trip with the wife. Now that it's in heavy rotation, it has really grown on me...but like every SB album, I'll burn out in a month or so and go to another SB album, this time it's 'V'...what a majestic album! This is my first time listening through the QCs. 'The Great Nothing' is simply epic! Smile
