The Aurora Project has been added to this great site. To commemorate this I'd like to post a few video's of them which are available on youtube:
1. The Betrayal: From their first album Unspoken Words
2: The Human Gateway: An amateur live recording (2004) of a part of their show in the Redhouse club in Katwijk, the Netherlands:
3: The Event Horizon: From their first album, an "unpluggged" recording made for a local TV station:
4: Another one from the same show: Nocturnal Lament (also from their first album)
Hope you like it as much as I do!

Even if this has been posted before, it bears posting again:
For fans of Here and Now, this is a real rare treat, as footage of this band is incredibly hard to come by. For those not familiar with them, the sound quality is awful - but there is something of the *unique* ambience of a Here and Now performance in here, so stick with it, because it IS worth it. The footage also contains imagery of Stonehenge Festival in 1984, which was an utterly incredible festival experience, mainly because it was FREE - the bands performed without charge, there was no admission fee, and people were able to completely be themselves and express themselves as they wished - and in a crowd of 150,000, I experienced no aggresssion or violence whatsoever - quite the opposite, in fact. WARNING: The second clip, Theatre, contains harrowing images of "The Battle of the Beanfield" in 1985, when Maggie Thatcher's Police Army attacked travellers, destroyed their property and were even unnecessarily aggressive towards women and small children. Nice one, Maggie. Ignore the poor sound quality - enjoy the very high music quality (Sorry, I can't post clickable URLs, you'll have to copy and paste them into your browser): SECRETS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6fk8wl8pl0 THEATRE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28K3wvFnYUM GLAD YOU'RE HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ik6Oje0VHmM |
