Rush..
But it's close. Yes are brilliant. These days I probably listen to Yes more than Rush, but I've been into Rush for much longer. Rush were big Yes fans and after ditching their Led Zep copycat act, pursued more progressive music, having been inspired by the English prog giants of the day.

Rush are an excellent band but will never match the intensity of Yes. And Yes are more interesting! Hardly any of their records sound the same!
My vote goes to the 20 or 30 people that made up Yes over the years
But I do really like Rush

Actually in music archives Rush is often compared to Yes , sure Rush are a lot more Heavy and to my trained ear Both bands sound nothing alike ... but to the novice they percieve both of these bands to be very similar

Two Bands that both have a big fanbase and both have earned their stripes as prog Titans, so who is better ? (some will say its like comparing apples to yada yada yada but thats the case with most of these polls)
