Well, I guess it depends on your definition of prog but over all I would say Pink Floyd by far. As for solo artist probably Peter Gabriel.

I'd take a guess at Phil Collins, the second wealthiest drummer in the world. I'm not sure if he's still the wealthiest after his £20 million divorce settlement though.

There has always been a misconception of "filthy rich" rock stars, and some (Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney etc.) probably deserve that label.
However, I always considered prog rock musicians as toiling away for their craft, and not being particularly successful in terms of personal wealth. Who might be the wealthiest of the prog rock artist community?
