It should probably go Gonzalez, Miggy, Tex, but Tex will probably outvote Miggy since he's a Yankee and all.

I'd switch my av to an Adam Lind image, but I fear his power numbers would drop as well.  I'm pretty sure Jose started slumping around the time I switched my avatar.  LOL

I hope Lind can somehow get on the All Star team, but 1B is always a competitive spot.  They could always stick him in left field for the game, which where he played a few years ago.

The Tigs beat the Tribe 6 to 2 to re-take sole possession of 1st place again.  And then the skies opened up and it started to pour.  Timing is everything.

I seriously couldn't believe it when the Tigers included him in that trade, especially since he had 2 or 3 years left on his contract.  He had definitely shown that he was a 20 HR 20 steal man here and his defense was outstanding.  That short fence at the new Yankee Stadium has made him an even better player.  He used to strike out a lot as a Tiger.  I thought that I heard that your batting coach helped him make an adjustment which has helped him cut down on the strikeouts.  Now if we could only get your batting coach to work on Austin Jackson.


You guys kind of stole Miggy from the Marlins so its only fair. Not that I'm complaining though.

IMO the real hero of the game was D. Brown. Young kid facing a tough lefty, which he has historically struggled against, works out a walk after falling behind instead of trying to mash a HR to win the game.

Actually I consider Utley the hero because he drove in two runs and gave the phillies an easy chance to score two more being at third with less than two outs. However that happened early in the game so people tend to forget that when it comes time to name a hero.
