	I read the first five books some years ago. I thought they were alright, good entertainment, but they didn't exactly leave a lasting impression on me. So, overhyped, but not too shabby, I suppose.

	I read the first chapter of the first book and that was enough for me.

	They were good when I read them, I was really into the first three books but then just lost interest. Overhyped, yeah, but since it actually gets kids to read rather than watch TV, they deserve credit.

	i stopped after the third i think. An now I hear there's 7 or 8 or something like that. I just don't care.

	I started reading it a long time ago before the hype blew up and I want to finish the series. It is way overhyped (have you seen the fan fic? ) Overall, it's a good read I guess.

	Personally, I think the franchise is ridiculously overhyped and not that good at all, although entertaining when you want a really quick read just for the hell of it... Book 1: 4/10 Book 2: 6/10 Book 3: (apex) 7/10 Book 4: 4/10 Book 5: 2/10 Book 6: 6/10 we'll see...but overall i think it's rather a waste of time... especially compared to REAL fantasy like A Song of ICe and Fire
