It may be true that there are a lot of asshole skaters, but I have some friends who skate and very nice people.

I understand where you're coming from. There are too many a-holes on skateboards (those that are in it because of the trend) that give bad reputation to those who aren't (those who do it for the love of it). I personally can't stand them and I'm a skater! |

I love watching movies, playing word games like jumbles or crossword puzzles, playing card games, and solving murder mysteries.

Video Games, Tetris, Solitaire, Painting, and above all sitting in a big, fluffy chair in a burgundy robe, smoking a pipe and reading Erotic Literature.

I see my poll is incomplete... feel free to adapt any option to your needs... drawing would go in graphic art... even though my definition was in another direction but I think it would be right |

Modern physics and cosmology (science in general), literature (mainly science fiction, beat poetry, ect.), history, politics, and SEX.
I used to be really into model rockets but I just can't afford it any more with all the music I buy (). Same with video games but I don't regret that as much.

Then we have to adapt that one to the "belly" option... though it doesn't work.... man.... it also doesn't work in the "movies" option....let's say in "other".... |

I read almost constantly. More often than I listen to music and spend time on here combined.
Seriously I have read so much. At least 20 books in the past 3 months. |

voted for belly-enhancing. i also love a lot of classic science fiction books and classic gaming so I'll vote for the closest options.
I find history tedious as best and embarassing at worst - reading about all the ridiculous and terrible things the human race have "achieved" makes me long to be a part of a different one altogether ;P |

Maybe the question is not the right one but what I mean is, what other activities do you follow or practice PERIODICALLY and DEEPLY? (let me explain these, damn:)
Movies - not the casual movie goer or the one that has a few dvds and goes every week but the fan that KNOWs about movies, has watched a lot of OLD movies, really LOVES the art. Literature-the same, not the casual "da vinci code" reader (not that I have anything against that book, but I mention it as a bestseller) but the average reader of old and new masterpieces. Painting - lover of the art, knows his Picasso, Dali, Miro, rembrandt, goya, velazquez, The T.... History - I mean, the news and politics fan that loves to READ but not novels and stuff but HISTORICAL or SOCIOLOGICAL books. Sports - either the huge fan who follows a sport on tv (any kind of game, knows the rules, etc) or the one that practices it REGULARLY and WITH WINNING PURPOSES. (I don't know how to explain but I hope you get the point) EGAMES - the gaming freak, the one that own a few consoles and plays at least a few minutes a day. I have interest for movies mainly (have more than 600), WAS a huge soccer fan (till I got into soccer-paradise United States) was an average reader (don't know what happened, prog and music itself killed the library mouse), and I have to say, I will play Egames till i die.... I also love history. So you? (Multiple votes allowed) |
