My favourite song from the "Time" album is the final track: "These Strange Times", which could quite easily apply to this strange Chinese Year of the Plague. Confused

It's no joke. Rumours is one of the best-selling albums of all time, and that's no rumour. Smile

big seller does not men great songwriting. Rumours is just a good pop-rock record. I'm tired of it.
I've never grown tired of Then Play On or Peter Green FM. So there you go, why i think it's a joke.

I often marvel at how good Tango in the Night was, coming out 10 years later than Rumours and I'm probably more likely to listen to it than Rumours these days.

Well... to be honest I'm old school in that I don't get into the more mainstream modern rock stuff very much but prefer the original blues and classic rock things from the old days. I did own the first 2 with Nicks when they came out but after the initial fanfare and radio overkill I never played them. I will say there are some nice non commercial tracks here and there by Buckingham but the radio stuff is simply not of interest to me.
Fair enough. If Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac is more to your tastes, Then Play On. Smile

Everything with Peter Green on it...After that its all AOR!

top three albums after Greeny are:
3. Tango In The Night
2. Fleetwood Mac
1. Tusk

I like the Buckingham Nicks album too. Thumbs Up

Sorry to be Captain Obvious again, but I'd recommend the first Greatest Hits album if you want to listen to the best of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. The album has the added bonus of including "Albatross" and several other well-known songs, which don't appear on any Fleetwood Mac studio album. Smile

You have not understood my post? I said I listen to Peter Green's FM. Nicks/Buckingham FM is overplayed, I don't need to listen any time soon.

I've been listening to early FM since i was a teenager.
so yeah, definitely captain Obvious...
