I don't understand how is this rated so low, specially taking in account that Heavy Weather was it's predecessor.

I love Kate Rusby! (It's OK -- my wife knows.)
Beautiful voice -- Kate does great versions of trad songs, plus originals which sound like old folk songs. Sometimes she covers pop songs in a folky way -- she does a great version of the Kinks' Village Green Preservation Society! (See post below.) V V
