I think that's one pretty soulful record, the melodies, the solos, absolutely gorgeous. For me it's the perfect mix between the latin jazz sensibilities of their first two albums with the jazz rock powder of Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy.

I don't have that one, but look at the wear on the cover.  You pretty much know this is a well loved album. Big smile

I've officially dived in head first into the Univers.  I've now got four titles in my carrying case for a while.  Two new ones today:

Same here.  I've also always wondered why the album cover is his avatar if he dislikes the album, but that's another question that will never get answered.
 
He told me or read somewhere why he had it as an avatar. It was because 'Third' had already been taken, so he chose Fourth since he doubted anyone would chose that.

I think that it is a pretty good solo album for an ex-Beatle.   Not really sure of its appeal to prog or metal fans, but it is good from a standpoint of singer-songwriter acoustic guitar point of view.
