Porco Rosso for me, although I could just as easily have chosen Spirited Away, Nausicaä, Grave of the Fireflies or Howl's Moving Castle. All brilliant movies which outshine anything Pixar has done by a million miles, imo.

By coincidence I was just in the middle of a Miyazaki marathon. As always, it starts with Spirited Away, his first film I ever saw. What a stunning masterpiece! I love it so much.

I've been watching alot of Studio Ghibli's films recently and generally find them stunning. I know there are several other fans on here (seem to remember Stonie doing a Miyazaki poll a few years ago, not that I can find it with this search ehgine) and was wondering whats everyones favourite? I've deliberatly left off the newest one, Ponyo on a Cliff, as its only had a Japanese and Korean release so far.
I voted for Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
