I`m going to take a risk here,  I`m going to speak honestly from how I see things, Rush`s last three CD`s (Including Feedback) have had one thing in common Alex Lifesons performance has been very ordinary (not up to par) ... For this reason I`m afraid I`m gonna have to let Alex go , hate to do it but I must

All of them, all of Rush's members. We should replace them with Emerson, Lake and Palmer and call the new group "Emerson, Lake and Palmer" for instance. Besides, we'd take Emerson, Lake and Palmer and replace them with Rush and we'd call the new group something like "Rush"...

Besides, I think I'm replacing myself with someone else and go for lunch. See you later.

You must not be a big Zep fan.

Zep isn't Zep without Bonzo behind the kit.

How come they never replaced him then?

Bizarre poll, all 3 are vital to Rush and they wouldn't be the same without any of them.

All of them--- quickly and with little fanfare.

Alex is not an amazing guitarist, but his personality is great and his stage presence really goes well with the band.  No one can be replaced in Rush but talent wise Lifeson is the weakest link.
I'd like to see a keyboardist added maybe just for a song.  I'd be very upset if it were Rudess though, maybe a classic progger though: Banks, Emerson, Wakeman etc

Rush would not function with any one of them gone! They just wouldn't be Rush.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I agree with most people here that any one leaving would just simply end Rush's rein.

BUUUT! If I were to sack any one of them, it would be Geddy. His voice is about as pleasant to listen to as nails on a chalkboard.

Replacement? Haven't a clue. Greg Lake, but no keys. John Wetton the same. Bass/keyboard player that sings is not exactly very common.
