I love Scotland - I'm part Scottish myself... or should be, given the quantity of Whisky I consume...

I went to Scotland once, and found myself in an unfamiliar town. Since I could not understand the Scottish accent when the people spoke quickly, I went into the nearest place that served food and asked the young lady behind the counter if she could tell me, very slowly, the name of this place.
She said:
Burrr-gerrr Kiiiiiing.

Well Scotland also got overpriced goods and you can hardly eat any food, apart from salmon.
London was ok, but I prefered Oxford

Well............I´m off to London in two weeks time and it will be great, but not as great as Scotland, even Nessie gave me a wink . |
Not as good as Scotland??? London is excellent and a very funky place to be. As a Londoner of some thirty five years I only need mention the crap transport system, the unfriendly strangers, the muggers, crack addicts, overpriced goods, crap transport system, sh*te weather, the constant target of global terrorism and the crap transport system.
And you prefer Scotland????

I sat through the whole of that awful tv series "Monarch Of The Glen" just for the sake of Dawn Steele, recently voted the second most desirable woman in Scotland. Not only is she spectacularly cute but when she speaks.........!!
Makes me wonder though: If she took second place on that list: Which vision of loveliness managed to beat her to the first place? They didn't say. Boggles the mind who could possibly have beaten Dawn!
