I PURCHASE A HALBERD, LEAVING ME WITH 4 GOLD.

I ALSO BET 3 GOLD ON JON FOR HIS MATCH VS. SMARTY

... Which leaves me a wealth of 1 gold yet again.

And Rob, I'm pretty sure my record is 1-1 now.

A bit, yes.  Then again, that 20% chance to immediately instagib someone works in anyone's favor.  Just to be on the safe side, I bet 5 gold on Smartpatrol.

Thanks Jon.  Fixed.  Thanks for being honest.

By the way, this is the first ever Pinnacle match.  No one ever fought on the Pinnacle in the old game.

Odds coming up, then I'm going to cook supper.  Match will go on after dinner.

Poached salmon with Hollandaise sauce if anyone cares.

If anyone wishes to fight, I may be able to do some more matches tonight.  Challenge or accept challenges and I will post odds and we'll see what happens.  Evil Smile

Not too shabby indeed!  I think I must have bought one of the champions back in the day, then, because I remember using one as my main warrior for a good while.

Another point into morning star proficiency, methinks.

I made a mistake on the last throw by not subtracting the scale mail armor, but the match is still yours.

This, however, means that Phaedra can be a playable character since he was not killed off.

Aha, nice.  Is it different than the first time 'round?  Because if I recall correctly back then we got the champions we defeated (if they lived).

I don't recall it that way- I thought I just made that rule up now.  LOL  I was going to put the dethroned champions on the market to be bought a premium.

The bonus for defeating a champion is you get their unique weapon, which, in your case (if it is equipped), gives a character with any spear proficiency (which Talybont has) an automatic two attacks at the beginning of the match.  Not too shabby!
