MLB 2011 season

Looks like the Brewcrew doesn't want to win the NL Central these days.

A 1/2 game from being mathematically eliminated. At least it took till September for the Buccos to be taken out of it this year.

The Tigers hammered the Sox 18-2. By the 7th inning, it looked like an exhibition football game, with most of the Tigers' starters relaxing on the bench.

What an epic game!!!  When the score was 8-1 I said that I was going to leave if the game went into rain delay since it wouldn't be worth sticking it out for.  Good thing that it was 8-5 when the rains moved in.  Stuck it out with about 10,000 other folks and saw an epic ending.  Radio-Raburn actually came through with a clutch 2-run home run (this is why we stuck with him all year even though he sucked so bad in the 1st half, yet again) and then Cabrera finally came through in a clutch late inning situation.  He is such an awesome player, but in my opinion he is hardly ever comes through in key situations at the end of the game.  At least not as frequently as certain Yankees or guys named Pujols or Ortiz who always seem to be on the highlight reels for late inning game winning home runs.  Anyhow GREAT game.  One thing going for the Tigers come playoff time is that teams usually switch to 3 or 4 man rosters, so no more Bad Penny to have to endure.

Cubs lose. Cubs lose!! The Buccos won. Only 12 games below .500 now.
