I'd like to make a change to the operation of the game. Here it is:
I'm going to make weapon proficiencies general as they once were (Blade, Blunt, Axes, Pole Arms)- if a character has a +1 Blade skill, they can use any blade weapon's specialty. This makes a lot of sense.
This would mean that I would want unique weapons to be "limited to their class" so to speak, and only those with at least a +1 proficiency can use the special ability. Again, only makes sense, and adds another layer of strategy to the game.
None of this will go into effect until tomorrow.

Ommadawn nearly perished in the arena today. Dunkirk and his powerful new halberd was too much for Ommadawn's meager spear.
