I think it is likely, since we've already heard that several earlier concerts on "The Incident" tour were filmed, that they will be releasing a concert DVD; it just won't be taken from the Radio City Music Hall or Royal Albert Hall concerts.

The whole album has a cinematic feel to it, and with SW's admitted love for film, combined with his interest in providing soundtracks for film, I think it highly unlikely that an Incident concert DVD is not ultimately forthcoming.

Than again, it could be simple wishful thinking on my part.  ;-)

I wish they did, it'd be horrible to have no live document of The Incident... We have one from the Deadwing tour, one from the FOABP tour, but none from The Incident? It's my favourite of the 3 albums, too...

They did only say 'film', not 'record'....

/Seemingly fullish optimism

^I know! I don't get why they wouldn't film the biggest concerts of their whole career. It seems like a no brainer. Film it, release the DVD. We want to give you our money, PT!

I think they're saving their money for something big to happen in 2011.

As long as this doesn't end up like the Anesthetize Sp. Ed. did, it'll be alright.

I'd get a few PT vinyls too, if I had the means to listen to them.

Muhahaha!!!!

I knew there was a reason I kept my old turntable!  Smile

Your job can't be that bad, Kashmir! LOL

I also need to find a "working" record player... I recently hit a gold mine a few days ago at a local yard sale: Original vinyls (and in good condition) of nearly all early Rush, Nursery Cryme, some Uriah Heep, latter day Zep, Kraftwerk, Jethro Tull, and loads more.

Can't wait for the Insurgentes movie!

I must be insane. Not only have I ordered Recordings, Insurgentes, and the Opeth DVD this month, but I just now ordered the limited edition LP Opeth boxset as well! LOL Could not resist the lithograph, and special artwork, etc. I don't even have a record player! But I am interested in finding a cheap turntable somewhere. So I can start on my vinyl collection. I really need a better job, so I can keep up this record buying obsession! I have about 400 CDs, a dozen or so music DVDs, about a dozen or so MP3 albums, and one Blu Ray (Anesthetize special edition). Soon to be 4 vinyl  LPs (Opeth). My uncle's worse than I am. He stopped counting how many albums he has after about 10,000!

Still tossing up if I should order it; plenty of places already have stock of it so I'll hold off for now. I'll probably give in within a week or two though

Cheers everyone. I thought it may have been on that but wasn't sure. He's already said that it's pretty much a cert that Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape won't be re-released ever, along with some other older material.
It's all in the Steven Wilson complete discography. Check this out if you haven't already. It's mind blowing:
