here you go:
22 years old, 50K on the clock, yours for £7400
or:
10 years old, 90K on the clock, yours for £7,200
but it won't buy you this:
Two 1 metre lengths of Audioquest WEL signature speaker cable - £10,728

I don't think people really know how little $12,000 is...
That's like 6 months of work for someone who makes $8/hr. |

Depends on location, hot dog cart could be fairly lucrative around here, especially on a beach or in the urban areas. Also if you're pet is in need of operation I recommend you do it!!! |

tsk tsk...invest some of it. Find some way to turn it into more! Also, the money can also be used as an incentive to kick the PA habit! You need to think of all the possible uses man |

^ because 12K would be gone quicker than you think and you'd be right back where you started, or broke, and without your favorite music site.. sounds like a deal with the devil to me

I don't know how anyone could not choose the money. I'm not sure about the sexual favors, though. It depends on how many of them.

I would never partake, just sell and buy them, build a nice market ya know? I live in NJ, running a beach skank business is just smart Also not to derail, I'd also quit PA for sexual favors Rob. Really, any decent incentive. |

For those who would do it for sexual favors, Brian can offer some beach skanks.

I see. Well, that's good though you can't buy things with sexual favors. Unless an underground market exists I don't know about! |

For $12,000 I'd say f*ck the Internet altogether.

Not for £7,400. My addiction has a much higher price than that.

The logistics of this are challenging what with music playing in public places, friends playing music when you are around, etc... But to never be in control of the music I hear and only hear it as a consequence of someone else playing it who is indifferent to my tastes ... well ... no amount of money would be worth it. I mean, probably half of the money I spend beyond cost of living / etc. goes to music related things anyways, so without the ability to listen to music I wouldn't really need more money than I have now anyways.

I've thought about this ... and for now I think my answer is, no I would not. I could use $12K (who couldn't) but there are other methods I can use to get $12K. They may take longer, but money is ultimately a fluid thing that comes and goes and is easily replaceable.
Then again, the people and info from PA have spread beyond this websites boundaries to places like lastfm, facebook, and listening room, so maybe it wouldn't be such a big deal.
