Curt Cress played on a few Saga albums as well :  "Beginner's Guide to Throwing Shapes" and "Wildest Dreams" - nice drumming on those albums.

For all around creativity and technique my top 10 prog drummers would be:

Vinnie Coliauta
Neil Peart
Bill Bruford
Terry Bozzio
Pierre Moerlen
Michael Giles
Carl Palmer
Phil Collins
Sean Reinert
Stewart Copeland

These guys just seem to have the most facility on the drums.  I have to admit I haven't heard Christian Vander yet, so I don't really know how good he is.  Danny Carey and Gavin Harrison have nice tasteful playing, but I'm not sure they're top 10 yet.  Chad Wackerman's pretty good too - it was hard leaving him off, but he's mostly jazz.

I used to post there before I came here, I was unaware that you posted a url.

I've posted it quite a few times here actually.  One time a year or so ago, we had a long discussion about ITCOTCK being on the top of their progressive list.  As I recall, it also won the discussion here as well.  Altho at the time, this site was overloaded with Genesis fans, so of course, they thought that SEBTP and TLLDOB should of been much higher on the list..

I wasn't here during that discussion, so I was completely oblivious to that.

I didn't discover this site until about Early December of 2004, a guy on the Progressive Forum on that site (who happens to be DallasBryan here) was talking about this site, so I gave it a look, and here I am.
