My gf enjoyes dancing quite a bit, and I'm not necessarily Fred Astaire.
So, do the math.
But I'm not that BAD...I get around, I suppose  |

Dancing is a form of physical activity. I eschew physical activity. 
Actually a few nights ago I danced with my daughter to "Owner of a Lonely Heart" (the DJ didn't know what progressive rock was, and when I said "Like Yes," he winced and said, "But Yes is more like classic rock!"  ). Anyway, she loved it- I dipped her to the orchestral hits and moved her around with Rabin's solo. It was fun. 
I actually like dancing on occasion. But am I a good dancer? Hells naw.

^ I don't think so. I'll assume the explanation is the same as in my case: when you haven't been taught how to dance, the whole idea of even being in a place where you could be asked to dance is very inhibiting.

I am getting married June '11 and I have been informed I will have to dance. I will be happy to do it for the girl I love, but if it wasn't for her, never. I'm still kind of terrified of the whole thing though. Just have fun and don't care what anyone thinks, kind of like when you're listening to prog in you living room and everyone else is looking at you funny asking why you're listening to circus music.

Friede and UI both love dancing and are very good at it, and inventive too. since we have been practising yoga for years we are very flexible and can do things like raisng one leg over the head while dancing and stuff like that
