There's actually evidence to suggest that football would cause a lot less injuries if, like rugby, they didn't have pads or helmets because then people wouldn't be crashing into each other with their heads. I think you're an idiot to seriously play either of them and I would support eliminating all school teams for them because if you want to destroy yourself, fine join a community team, but the school shouldn't be endorsing it and wasting money subsidizing it.
But unfortunately my hatred of sports makes me a tiny minority of America.

Add to that, if you TIVO a game and take out all the commercials and stoppage in between plays you end up with an average of about 11 minutes of actual action. Yawn.

Forgot this one... I don't know if this is just a common term in my corner of the world, but within the last year EVERY gamer began saying things like "That was completely boss!" or "I'm such a boss" or "You just got bossed". That annoys the living daylights out of me!  I think it may be due to the Saturday Night Live digital short entitled "Like a Boss"...

Well, like one of those things that like bothers me is when people say "like" all the time. They'll be like "OMG this like is so amazing!" and I'll be like "you're such a n00b at English".

One that's really getting on my tits at the moment is the continuing misuse of the word "next" by TV continuity announcers:
"Next on TV Dross: When Pets Pass Their Driving Test, but first it's yet another episode of King of the Simpsons Family Guy's Dad on a Hill..."
