New Dream Theater album coming

Well, thats about it. If you want to know the songs are The Mirror, The Glass Prison, This Dying Soul, The Root of All Evil and Repentance. They're supposed to reflect the 12 steps, though there wont be 12 songs as most cover several steps.

My Gosh. Every time DT comes out with a new album all you hear on these forums is whining and b%tching about whether or not it will sound like IAW or Awake. Those albums came out 15 YEARS AGO!! THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SOUND LIKE THAT AGAIN -  GET OVER IT. If you are going to complain about DT you are obviously not a fan. So why are you posting up here. Bands like DT, Symphony X and others are keeping prog metal alive and well for the rest of us who love it  If you don't like go to the classic rock forums and discuss the finer qualities of Autograph or something. Otherwise just zip it and play Pull Me Under for the 10,000th time. 

What's with the AA song-type people are talking about? Is it really true, that I've grown so bored of DT, that I don't know what that means, because I thought I did. After all, I have the albums, I should know the songs.

The great thing about a new Dream Theater album is either you'll like it or you can make fun of it. Either way I'm happy.

Yes, and we'll be there too! I've wanted to see them live for some years now, even though I am anything but a fan. Who knows, perhaps we'll be converted too...

i wish i could go to the progressive nation shows. =(
