Well, I remember you saying you were going to play Supper's Ready a week after picking up the flute, or something to that extent... If you could achieve that level after a week, whereas I only learned to play a dramatically simplified version of Jingle Bells a couple of months after starting out... I have an excuse though, I had absolutely no knowledge of music theory at the time (and I am still not exactly interesting in learning it, I just like to play).
BTW, I can actually play all the flute parts from Rhayader off The Snow Goose. Not that it's a big achievement, and my sound does not cut it. My teacher says I don't play (or to put better, hold in my lips) the instrument the way it is supposed to be played, but then I played her some of my favourite flute parts in prog and she said I sound almost exactly like all the prog flautists.

I play self-taught drums... But the instrument I like the most is the Piano (and keys in general, except for honky bar-keys...).

Why so angry?
As for me, I once saw a really nice instrument in this store called Ten Thousand Villages, and it was pretty cool. I'm thinking of picking one up and teaching myself to play it (and playing it in the Moody Noobs, of course). No idea what it's called though...
EDIT: Luckily for me, I didn't vote (largely because, for reasons explained above, I couldn't), because I just saw the option "voice." And I'd say that the existence of Damo Suzuki and Malcolm Mooney just won "voice" this battle.

1.guitar, any, cause it rocks..
2.piano, for more moving moments..
3.violin, cause it has the most authentic, pure, clean sound of all other indtruments...

Why do you need more than one option?
Organ, of course.

Tenor sax.. it sounds so sensual and romantic, specially the higher notes .
EDIT: of course guitar is and will always be no.1 for me.. but I just love how the tenor sax sounds

I play drums, bass, guitar and piano, but Organ takes the cake for coolness. I love the sound of a good organ. Its powerful and adds more to a song or piece than a whoopie cushin does to laughs.

Clarinet out of these. But where is the bassoon? Coolest instrument
ever. I also happen to like bassguitar, which is what I play.
