That's a cracker of an album, Andrea!Clap

@ Chris: thank you for the offer! At the moment I have a bio ready (thanks to Andrea C... I used the one you posted here some time ago, and edited it a bit).... We can replace it with yours at a later date, or even blend the two. I should be ready with the addition by the end of today... I am so very happy!!!Big%20smile

*gets ready for accusations of having added BOC because they are her favourite band*Tongue

I do not know a lot well the BOC.  But this is my favourite live album (with "Made In Japan", "Le Orme In Concerto" "Live Evil", "On Stage", "Intermission"and "PFM Cook"):

And I am for BOC inclusion in Prog Related!!!

Yep, Secret Treaties is wonderful: Astronomy and Flaming Telepaths in particular are excellent examples of their proggy "tendency".

This site needs more cowbell.

And regarding an earlier comment... Personally I don't see Prog Related as a "non-Prog" category; I see it as a "quasi-Prog" category.  Of course what is Prog is often in the ear of the behearer.  I also see it as a necessary category for a site that wants to be the biggest Prog database out there.  This is more of an album oriented than band oriented site too.  What if, for instance, the related category was removed and the first two Alan Parsons' albums were lost (many see them as Prog).

I applaud BOC's inclusion as a cowbell-related band.

If Iron Maiden can get on this site then BOC should definitely be included.
When people get lost in thought it's often because it's unfamiliar territory.

As much as it pains me to admit it, I think Hugues is right. We have already enough trouble as things are, seen as the policy concerning the additions of prog-related bands is far from clear, without courting further controversy by adding a band like BOC. This time, I'll keep what I think about the whole issue for myself - especially as concerns the notion of what constitutes 'prog', which seems to be fluid to say the least.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,

Prog-related is the wishful "category" with no borders, it seems.Thumbs Down

Prog Related isn't a Prog category. Band in Prog Related are not Prog bands. This is primarily why I think the category should be removed. However, as it isn't likely to get removed any time soon, we could aswell continue adding Hard Rock bands with Prog moments. Queen are already there, it would be strange not to include other bands in a similair vein.
