I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to someone who posted on the Deletion page for ProgArchives on Wikipedia.

^ I do not mind that Season's End was the album being reviewed in that picture, though. Wink

I quite agree, Stonie.

When I mentioned that there are band members on the forum, I didn't mean naming either the band in question, or the band member(s), but just mention the factual information that some band members do post here.

I think, apart from M@x and Ronie, we have deleted all mention of members on there and don't plan to add any in either.  The Velvet Crew and Swelsh information has also gone and rightly so.

The image in question was added by Imoeng, so if he wishes to ask the member in question whether it's fine to use his review example (which you cannot read clearly anyhow), he can do.

I've just noticed that ultimate-guitar has been put up for deletion twice and it was even deleted on one occasion... so the fact that that website is there, tells me we should be there too.  Yes, we may not have as many members as them and we also may not provide tablature, but we do provide a wealth of reviews on prog albums, many of which are rare and don't have many reviews associated with them.  These reviews are vital to people who may find an old vinyl in a shop and want to know further information.

Ha, you seem have had the vision.. Feel free to modify it, James.. Big smile

We don't need the Velvet Crew part Ansen, I'm happy to see it go.

I'm referring to the PA entry, which is still there for the time being.

The section on The Velvet Crew is irrelavent to the layperson and may infact put people off reading the wiki entry, therefore it has gone.

The entry still exists in its own right at a separate wiki entry, but that will also soon disappear.

If we can make the relavent changes and not make it seem like an advert for the site, then there maybe a saving grace, but we'll have to be quick about it.

Wikipedia has strict guidlines.

I do however have an idea...

If we let them delete it, but save all the information... we can then make a much better entry from the old one and repost it and not have the previous edit history, that the current entry has.

Therefore, people won't have to read all the previous edit histories and read all the irrelavent stuff that was there originally.

The part about The Velvet Crew is gone. I'm afraid the main article will also be deleted soon. Cry

Seriously though, that kind of internal jokes can scare people off. You do whatever you wish though, of course.. :)

If you want to become part of the team, I suggest you take a step into the Velvet Room. Wink

I could do that, but people tend to think that new posters that post in those kinds of topics are just out for postcounts :)
then again, this is one of the most friendly forums i've ever had the pleasure of visiting. I guess it's a quality that's just inheritedly "prog", haha...

Haha, that sounds great. Thanks for the invite..
It will have to be in the future though, as it's kinda late where i am.
However, i'm gonna finish by asking a pretty unrelated question; Has anybody ever been kicked out of PA due to... unorthodox behavior (niiice...)? Any trolls you've needed to get rid of?
