Question, is "And the Word Was..." the same thing as "From Genesis to Revelation"? Cuz I have "and the word was...". I knew it would suck, i just bought it cuz it was 2 bucks and a collector item.

Yes, it is "From Genesis to Revelation" plus 4 bonus tracks (their 1968 Decca singles with the B sides). I think it was released on CD in 1987 by Decca, and it was the last time that Decca had the rights to release that album. I like their first album.
My favourite Gabriel Era-Genesis album is "Foxtrot".

The 70-74 albums by Genesis are all great Masterpieces, but THE LAMB is the greatest one! (IMO).

For me its definately Foxtrot...by a long shot.
Selling England is good...but i think its somewhat overrated(within the prog world that is). I just cant ever see what the big deal about "Cinema Show" is. The album also brims with filler IMO.

ignore this thread, there's no Archives I, you suck
Now seriously, I voted for Nursery Cryme, no song comes near to The Musical Box and Fountain of Salmacis even when I would delete For Absent Friends.

sorry i screwed up the other thread...
Probably a repeated thread, but deal with it.
I just got Nursery Crime today, and I've just started to really listen
to it... and i don't yet own the Lamb... but for now my vote goes for
Foxtrot.
