Masque: I know, but since when are young people not allowed to use phrases like that to create some controversy? After all, choosing such a title for an album about the Bush administration (or about the problems of our society with that administration) is a really clever move IMO. And since they're not belitteling the war in any way, why not?

Surely he was out of line with calling them parasites, his suggestion that people who already reviewed it didn't listen to it (and adding a Wink to get away with it), calling the reviews "drivel" and what's worst:

ANNOUNCING TO ABUSE THE RATING SYSTEM.

Immediate ban is in order IMO.

LOL
And the Vietnam War lasted from 1957-1975 which is 18 years or around 6500 days (according to Wikipedia).

The album is telling a fictional story about a man experiencing the Bush administration (and then some). At least that's what I gather from several print magazine reviews and interviews.

The album name supposedly refers to the length between her mother being paralyzed and her death (which is about 27 years).

It strikes me as weird and opportunistic that Tool would Title their latest CD 10,000 days (that's how long Vietnam lasted) Its weird because Tool wouldn`t have been old enough to have been their amongst the bloodshed , they wouldn`t have seen their best friends heads blown off or arms ripped out and guts spilling everywhere  .. ohhhh  No !!!! but they will gladly parasite from such a tragic event $$$$ . Now you Fanboys have probably rated this CD before you even heard a note  Wink   but don`t think for one minute its going to stay high in rating because "We" will bring it down to where drivel like this belongs Smile
Outraged &  Disgusted ...   Respect the Vietnam vets don`t parasite and live off their pain , unless you have been there   Angry
