Poor Greggy...

I'd send you the young Irishman for a weekend, but I'm afraid he doesn't lean that way... Believe me, my son has already tried....

I'd say that Signal to Noise by peter gabriel would be the best song for that kinda thing.

cuz it starts as calm but it just peaks at the right point and calms down. it's beautiful.

Sadly I havent got laid yet, my girlfriend broke up with me before I went on that journey.

..

ahh...teenage angst, dont ya love it?

A long time back when I was still leading the straight life my girlfriend used to like "doin it" to side 2 of Uma Gumma(Saucerful of Secrets and Set the Controls(Live).)..very strange girl...but I kinda dug it.

years later I picked up this male musician who was a big Beatle fan and we "did it" to John Lennon's 1st solo album...my favorite among Lennon's material.

Well "Young Lust" from the Wall... is interesting....

But I think I prefer Greg Lake's side of the Works album...

Closer to Believing...I am closer to believing
Than I ever was before
On the crest of this elation
Must I crash upon the shore
And with the driftwood of acquaintance
Light the fire to love once more
I am windblown....I am times.

C'est La Vie...In the night
Do you fight a lover's fire
Do the ashes of desire for you remain
Like the sea
There's a love to deep to show
Took a storm before my love
Flowed for you
C'est la vie

Lend Your Love to Me Tonight...Just lend your love to me once more
Don't ask me what I came back for
Just watch the moonlight cross the floor
And as your blood begins to roar
You'll feel your senses spin and soar
You will become my meteor
Divine and universal whore
Complete me .

A friend's girlfriend once told me that the third side of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" did it for her.  Can't say that my wife agrees!

 LOL.

Was this in the days of Vinyl - Good job you didn't make it last...You would have knackered yourself trying to keep up with Wakemans Hammond solo....

Good call though.....

Hi Swinton. I lost my virginity to "I Get Up, I Get Down", CTTE, but she (a virgin to prog, though otherwise experienced) claimed it put her off. I didn't argue and turned it off half way through.Embarrassed
Perception is truth, ergo opinion is fact.

piece of Classical music.......

What is the progressive equivalent, now I'm not sure myself because I tend to regard prog-rock as music that tends to focus on the more esoteric and mystical subject matter in the world. Prog songs rarely go for the "Boy being meets girl being beneath a silvery moon which then explodes for no appearent reason" (Quoting Douglas Adams RIP).

However has any of you ever made love to prog, if so what song?

I think "Chelsea Mondays" is quite a "Sexy toon", however my wife prefers soft soul music in the background........Can't see "Gates of delirium" doing it for her.....
