Sarcasm! Funny!
But seriously, from what I understand, this indoor show was attended by many british rock glitterati. My friend is many things, but he is not a liar...

Well, maybe Gabriel met Bono at a daycare center or something, and so he was going out of politeness...

Okay, here's a story that happened to a friend of mine:
A few years ago, U2 gave a series of outdoor shows in London, but one of the scheduled shows was an indoor show (don't know where) that sold out instantly.
My friend "blagged" (his word) his way into the show and took a seat in the balcony front and center. As the seats around him began to fill up, he noticed Peter Gabriel and a young woman in the aisle talking with an attendant and pointing in his direction. Gabriel was looking angrily over at my friend and gesticulating in a manner that suggested that my friend was in his seat.
In an attempt to act innocent of the whole affair, my friend turned to the person behind him, who happened to be David Gilmour, and said, "Is someone in that person's seat or something?"
To which Gilmour smiled and leaned down and replied, "No, someone isn't in his seat, but someone else is."
After a few moments, the attendant reseated Gabriel and the woman in another section not too far off. And Gabriel gave him angry looks thoughout the show.
