^ Collins had massive respect for The Beatles and Ringo so that's also my thinking. I can't imagine he cared about ELP or King Crimson for one second.

Barbarian. Do you think Phil would have even heard Starship Trooper yet? I know it was the same year, but I suppose it could have come out earlier than when they were writing for NC.

No idea. Maybe it has been written in Armando Gallo's book, I don't remember, but I have not looked up anything yet. I pick Van der Graaf Generator since the bands are related in a way: they were both on the Charisma label.

Yeah, this seems like the obvious answer. But I'll guess the Beatles, because why not.

I'll go with 21st Century Schizoid Man, but I admit I'm just taking a guess.

Probably Led Zeppelin. Collins was using mallets on his drums during that song.

Congratulations on being possibly the first quizmaster on Prog Archives. This idea could catch on. It's a pity I haven't a clue what the answer to the question is though.

This is a quiz.
Please choose the answer you think is the right answer, and write it in the message. You can get to the answer by "ear" or for your knowledge, or you can choose at random. It doesn't matter, it's a game. However, write the answer you choose in the message. Ah, I forgot, if you are sure you know the answer, please don't say: Guys, I know the answer, trust me, it's this: because the game would end immediately We are here for fun.
