Both are sublime, but I chose CTTE.  These represented the height of British prog composition IMHO.

Yep. Only I didn't add the question mark because of the rest of it.

I don't like the live version of SR .The Battle section especially is one of the best things about SR but Chester is basically rubbish on it!

I'm guitarist and songwriter for the prog-related band Mother Bass. Find us at http://www.motherbass.com. I also enter stages throughout the Netherlands performing my poetry.

At present the vote is: Close To The Edge - 14, Supper's Ready - 16.

I'm actually quite surprised that Supper's Ready is leading against Close To The Edge. I thought for certain that Close To The Edge would win this poll, though I didn't know if it would be by a little or a lot.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

Close to the Edge by a fraction. Supper's Ready happens to be one of my favorite tracks as well.

CTTE for sure (which is in no way a slight against Supper's Ready).

CTTE versus what???
Nothing compares to CTTE.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Suppers Ready is only beaten by another Yes epic Gates Of Delirium for me.
