No vote because Camel, Gentle Giant and VDGG are all basically a tie for me.

I've gone with VDGG today, but there's 8 or 9 up there I could make a case for...

This is tough!
Basically a toss-up between Caravan, Magma and The Softs. I’m going with the former on this one.

I've always had a soft spot for Renaissance. However if Marillion was there that's the one I would have voted for.

All bands from the list are from the 70's. Kansas is a glaring omission, the others are not from the 70's.

Only ELP out of the "big six" takes part of my own personal "big five" anyway.

Are they still touring? Maybe they'll put out a new album at some point too then.

They have European tour scheduled: http://www.vandergraafgenerator.co.uk/#gigs

Hopefully they can make it.

I can not vote in this poll, but if I could pick, I could pick either Camel or Supertramp. With Camel, I love "Lady Fantasy" and the Snow Goose album, and think that Andrew Latimer is a great musician. With Supertramp, I always loved the Logical Song, which made me happy for years on end. The group had other songs I really enjoyed like "Goodbye Stranger", "Breakfast America", and "School", and David Gilmour played guitar on "Brother Where Are You Bound". I have yet to fully explore these bands, but they are going good for me so far, and is excited to see their other content.

Also, it's Van Der Graff Generator not Van De. I think maybe they added the r to avoid a lawsuit. Not sure.
