"I've done questionable things."
"Also extraordinary things. Revel in your time."
"Nothing the god of biomechanics wouldn't let you in heaven for?"
There are, of course, a hundred other great lines from that movie.

^ the Alien series gets most of my votes too --
We have "Here kitty, kitty ..." as the late John Hurt hopelessly makes his way through the Nostromo bowels.
There's "How could they cut the power, man, they're animals?!" from the also deceased Bill Paxton.
And of course the 'salad scene' which changed sci-fi/horror forever.

From Aliens: after the rescue craft has crashed and there's no way off the alien infested planet, Newt (the little girl) says: "We'd better get back 'cause it'll get dark soon, and they mostly come at night. Mostly."

"They wanted - us"!
Like Jean I will not tell which movie that line is from. Perhaps we can generally make a guessing game out of this thread.
I will give one hint though: The director only ever made one full length movie, but he is nevertheless a well-known figure in the movie world apart from this movie.

I like the 'Daisy' bit too! End of Close Encounters as well, perhaps?
On a lighter note - what about the scene in Dark Star, when the crew are trying to get the bomb back into the bay using logic? Hilarious! The surfing finale gets me every time too.
If it's TV sci-Fi, then most episodes of Red Dwarf would be up there, or even the radio/TV adaptation of Hitchiker's Guide.

I like when, as HAL is being gradually disabled, he first questions and commands, then starts to plead, then his voice slows down and he starts singing "Daisy" as he loses intelligence, sentience, and "life." Ha! The unpredictable, non-linear human wins... for now!

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy.
